Vibratory screens, destoners, and magnetic separators remove impurities like dust, stones, and metal fragments from the raw oats.
2、Oat Dehulling Section (optional)
For raw oats with husks, a dehulling machine efficiently separates hulls from groats with minimal kernel breakage.
3、Groat Grading and Sorting
Particle classifiers ensure consistent groat size, preparing them for uniform steaming and floconnage.
4、Steam Conditioning Unit
A continuous or batch-type steam conditioner softens oat groats, optimizing floconnage performance and flake texture.
5、Roller Flaking System
Precision rollers compress steamed groats into flakes of controlled thickness, typically 0.5–1.2 mm. Surface finish is smooth and consistent.
6、Drying & Cooling Section
Flakes are dried to the desired moisture content and cooled to ensure product stability and prevent condensation.
